These are usually small jobs that contractors turn their noses up at. Think of: creating storage space, repairing wood rot, installing insulation, erecting a fence or pergola, fixing a sticking door, installing an extra socket, hanging curtains, lamps or paintings, unblocking the sink, repairing or replacing a leaking tap ...

For large jobs like a bathroom renovation, you really need someone else, and with jobs that a specialist usually comes for (think chimney sweeping, sewer unblocking or window cleaning), I can't help you either.
